Share with us your 2 favorite fairytales. Why do you like the fairytales so much?

As we know, everybody has their own favorite fairytales stories. For me, the best two fairytales story are ‘beauty and the beast’ and ‘peter pan’. Beauty and the beast is about love, magic and cursed. This story is focusing on internal beauty instead of physical beauty between belle and the beast. The beautiful young belle got beauty inside and outside of her, where most of a girl now days does not have. This story becomes more interesting when the serve who appear as teapot, clock and all the furniture can speak and moves. For the second fairytales, it about peter pan, a boy who can fly and never ages. He prefer to spends his life never ending childhood adventure on the small island of never land as the leader of the gang the lost boy, I’m sure most of people in this world hopping to be like peter pan. Life which full of fun and no problem to think. Peter pan are a good leader who never afraid to fight anything especially the pirates. In this story, friendship are the most important key, it like peter pan  and tinker bell. These are the reasons that they are my list of favorite fairytales. It showed me these beautiful values and its made me who I’m now. A happy go lucky person and a good loving character.

Film =)

At present, there are many films derived from within or outside the country. Popular genre nowadays is a horror, action, epic, and science fiction. Oriented film or comedy love interest as well, but only a few.

This time we will talk or share about the two films, which have a storyline, setting and moral value are almost the same. The movie is Twilight and Underworld. Both the film tells the story of two different factions of vampire and werewolf.

In the movie Twilight tells the love triangle between teenage girl, vampire and werewolf. Bella, a normal teenage girl who has caught the attention of Edward Cullen, a vampire that great. But love is not pleased with Jacob Black, a werewolf who is very well-built, strong and very charming. However, a vampire and a werewolf clan is not aligned. so also in the film Underworld, vampire and werewolf clan is not aligned, with a slightly different element of romance with Twilight. A love between vampire and werewolf movie Underworld incorporated into the narrative.

Both the film above shows how, these tribes fight to defend their tribe. There are values ​​that can be taken from both the mythological movie Twilight and Underworld. First, we must protect and defend the tribe and our descendants. The second, the story of a romance between the different factions can be seen as an interesting situation. They fight for their love for their true love despite many obstacles. The third, avoid prejudice feelings for each other and trust each other.

ghost

There are many opinions and views on ghosts, based on religion and culture of a society. Different beliefs about the appearance of the ghost. For example is a vampire. In the eyes of the Malays, vampire portrayed as having long hair, dressed in white, burst out laughing and said this is a woman ghost. if in the west, vampires described are physically human, toothless, pale skinned, strong and much more.

Among the Chinese, they have their own beliefs about ghosts. Where there are some people adore the grave to ask for good luck number for gambling. There is also a ghost called "Pocong". This ghost is described wrapped in a white cloth tied to the head and legs. "Pocong" said to jump from one place to another.

Indeed many differences of opinion about the ghosts, especially among religions and different backgrounds. but there are also those who do not believe in the existence of ghosts. in fact, the existence of ghosts is based on their own beliefs.

Malaysia is one of great example to the world to show a life of multi-racial society. Malaysia has succeeded in proving to the world that a multiracial society can tolerate and developing countries live together. According to the Kamus Dewan (2007), culture can be defined as, civilization, mind progress, common sense, strange behavior and many more. Culture can also be classified as a way of life practiced by a particular group and it covers the social, organizational arrangements, economics, politics, religion, beliefs, customs, attitudes and values. According to the Kamus Dewan (2005) fourth edition page 102, diversity is a description of the various types. Diversity include many things whether abstract or concrete, which can be found in a place or territory. Culture is the way of life that are designed to be able to interact and adapt to society and the environment. Malaysia is a multiracial country that can live in a harmony. Among the three main races in Malaysia, Chinese, Malays and Indians have lived in this land for five centuries. In addition, there are approximately 80 ethnic groups, especially in East Malaysia. These include Baba and Nyonya, Kadazan and Iban.

Malaysian Chinese community made ​​up of several tribes. There are six major dialect groups of Hakka, Cantonese, Teochew, Hainanese, and Fuzhou (Hokchiu). Chinese people practicing different forms of customs and taboos in their daily lives. From the aspect of the wedding, the Chinese will plan and arrange a marriage with glorious. According to their belief, married couples without the customary are not legal. Besides that, there are various forms of customs and taboos are practiced by the Chinese women during pregnancy and after birth to ensure the babies are healthy. For example, pregnant women are prohibited to do the nailing works because they believe that the babies will have a disability. They also had to abstain for 40 days after giving birth to maintain their health and beauty.

Chinese society adheres to the customs related to the issues of death. Upon death, the body will be cleaned and washed as a mark of their last respects to the deceased. The body will be placed in the coffin that is made of carved wood exciting. They will hire more people to mourn the deceased. During the escort the body, different types of songs will be played. After the funerals, black clothing will be worn for several days until the day of mourning is over.

In the area of ​​nutrition, the Chinese community has a variety of foods. One of it is the moon cake. Moon cakes are  Chinese pastry that is often eaten during mid-autumn festival. The cake is made from sweet dough and lotus seeds. In addition, Pan Gan Mian is also the Chinese food. Other names are Kompua. It is a kind of noodles eaten by Foochow community. Ding Bian Hu is the Foochow food that is usually eaten at breakfast and supper.

child is a precious and lovely gift from Allah s.w.t to us. It is our job to care and love them. But, what happen in our country nowadays, the baby is thrown everywhere, in the dustbin, in the alley, the dog found the baby and many more without feeling any guilty or responsible. According to the Bukit Aman Police Headquarters, statistics shows that, they found a total of 580 babies were dumped between a year 2000-2006. The Headquarter of Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) defines baby dumping as the acts leaving away the babies at any place without taking care of the babies. Most of the cases happened because of the unwanted pregnancies by the teenagers and another reason is poverty.

This care arise because of the unwanted pregnancies by the women, because of the pressured that they feel about the status of the child in their womb, and they think that they are not ready yet to hold the responsibilities as a parent. This dumping baby issues had been more serious from day to day although the media had report a lot about this. The causes of this cases in Malaysia is by the poor parenting control and lack in sex education.

Parent plays an important role in a family as they are the ones who teach the children to become good in manners and behavior. Parents should guides and give children and advise in whatever they do. Besides that, it is their job to control their kids social life. But, what happens nowadays, parent always busy with their work and neglect their responsible to the kids. They assume that the children can take care of themselves. Lack of parent guidance from young results in uncontrolled social life. Conflicts in family also one of the reason. This is because, young teenagers will find friends from opposite sex to overcome their stress therefore, results in proximity and lastly unwanted pregnancies.

Lack of sex education is also one of the reason that lead to baby dumping. Most of the parents feel uncomfortable or shy when it comes to talk about sex. They assume that, their children will know everything when they became adult. They forgot that, childhood education is important. They failed to give clear explanation and give less response when the child ask them. At school, the teachers think that it is not their job to teach sex education to student. They also give the same excuse, feel shy and uncomfortable to talk. The children or the student obtain less information about sex. Therefore, when they grow up, they are curious about their opposite sex gender and they want to try having sex with them without using any protection such as condoms.
